Obi-Wan Kenobi, later known as Ben Kenobi, is a pivotal character in the Star Wars saga. He first appears in Star Wars: Episode IV – A New Hope (1977) portrayed by Alec Guinness.

A wise and powerful Jedi Master of the Galactic Republic, Obi-Wan served as a General during the Clone Wars, a conflict depicted in the animated series Star Wars: The Clone Wars. During the TV show, Obi-Wan is also portrayed in multiple forms, from simple animation, to lego.

He was the Padawan learner of Qui-Gon Jinn, and later became the mentor to Anakin Skywalker and Luke Skywalker, guiding them in the ways of the Force.
